Draft. This is placeholder boilerplate to be reviewed and finalized by legal counsel before launch. It is not legal advice and does not yet reflect binding terms.

Battalion Build holds the operational record for construction and landscaping companies — estimates, contracts, payroll inputs, and client information. We treat that data as our top priority. This page outlines the practices we use to protect it.

Infrastructure

The Service runs on established cloud infrastructure providers with physical security, redundancy, and compliance programs. Environments for development, staging, and production are separated.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using industry-standard algorithms. Secrets and credentials are stored in managed secret stores, not in application code.

Access controls

  • Role-based access within each company account, so users see only what their role permits;
  • Tenant isolation so one company's data is not accessible to another;
  • Least-privilege access for internal staff, granted only as needed and reviewed periodically.

Backups & recovery

Customer Data is backed up regularly, and we maintain recovery procedures designed to restore service and data in the event of an incident.

Monitoring

We log and monitor access and system activity to detect and respond to anomalies, and we patch dependencies on an ongoing basis.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to security@battalionbuild.com. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will work with you to verify and address valid reports.
